15 best free music apps (stream legally!)

If you want to stream music but don’t want to pay for a subscription service, this is the post for you.

We’ll cover some of the best free music apps. Offering multiple genres of music, you can find the right one for you, no matter your taste.

Here are the best apps to listen to music online or offline for free.

Spotify is the most popular streaming site. There are many subscription options, including a free plan.

It’s a great way to listen to music without downloading.

Reasons to use Spotify:

  • Millions of tracks are provided.
  • There are a variety of tracks from modern singles to classic hits.

Spotify will offer you the best songs out of all the apps on the list. However… There are some problems with the free version.

First, it can play advertisements to disrupt your listening.

Second, you cannot select a specific song to play. Instead, you have to select an album or playlist and play the song in shuffle. The number of skips per hour is limited to 6.

There are playlists that you can listen to without skipping restrictions. There is no shuffle symbol next to the playlist title. So, you can choose the songs you want to play and do unlimited skips.

Overall, Spotify is a great choice in terms of music availability, but the free version doesn’t offer the best user experience.

So, what’s the best free music streaming app?

Spotify is arguably the best known music streaming service. And that’s for good reason. It features millions of tracks and podcasts from well-known artists, as well as other great features.

The problem I have with the free version of Spotify is the fact that I can’t choose which songs to play and I have to shuffle albums or playlists instead. The exception is picklists with shuffle disabled.

It’s pretty annoying when you want to listen to a specific song on an album. Of course, you can skip tracks, but only 6 times per hour. If i want to hear 7Work You select a song in an album or playlist, then you have already used Skip All to get that song. What if I go to YouTube and listen to the song?

This is why I upgraded to Spotify Premium.

In the free version, I thought the ads were okay, but it was annoying that I couldn’t skip 6 times, pass the time and choose a song. If you listen to the entire album and playlist and don’t mind skipping to a specific song, the free version of Spotify is definitely for you.

iHeartRadio, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music are the best.

I have a Prime account and one of the best offers is definitely Amazon Music.

I don’t have all the songs I want. I knew that for some of my favorite artists, I would only have the last two albums, not the previous ones. However, I found it to have a great selection and I can easily hear it on a wide variety of devices, from laptops to my Echo devices.

It depends on what you are looking for in a music streaming service.
